Two characters from "Cherry Jump!" a manga I'm working on. (And no, I won't be uploading the manga pages here, because I'll be drawing them by hand rather than online and I don't have any way of getting them on my computer.) Their names are Yukiko and Sayuri. Other main characters include Tsukino, Koemi, Haruka, Misora, and Moeka. It's not all that great since I did it on Paint. orz. Might upload pics of the other characters if I have time.
"Cherry Jump!" will be similar to mangas like Strawberry Marshmallow, Azumanga Daioh, and Golden Mosaic. It's a fairly calm slice-of-life (most of the time...) cute moe comedy with just a hint of yuri, about the lives of six girls (five of them in junior high and one in elementary) who battle the usual struggles of growing up in modern Japan- stuff like schoolwork, love interests, trying to deal with annoying people, that kind of stuff... O.o
Don't ask why I picked that title for the manga. I really don't know. Manga titles usually have little to do with the actual content of the pages, don't they? I wanted to do a fruit name in it since fruit=cute in Japan. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
Yukiko- doesn't really have any dominant traits. She's a rather complex character actually. She's slightly based off of myself. She's also a bit shy.
Sayuri- hyper, outgoing, random... Yeah, she supplies the comedy.
Tsukino- the typical tsundere, but I promise she'll have some other traits.
Koemi- shy, clumsy, quiet, a little babyish at times. Completely innocent and sometimes oblivious.
Haruka- the dandere. I'll try not to let her fade into the background though.
Misora- totally popular. Almost everyone at school wants to date her. (Even the girls.) Pretty and rich, maybe a little prone to bragging.
Moeka- someone's little sister, I haven't decided whose yet. You can suggest someone for me if you'd like. (Update: Will be Yukiko or Sayuri's little sister.)
P.S. Yeah, I know Yukiko's right arm is thinner above her elbow than below. I have a habit of messing up arms for some reason...
